1. Hey everyone. I wanted to get in touch with some people here that have visited the neverland property recently. I understand there is a gate you can't pass and possibly a guard. My friend and I are planning on visiting and we are going to try and sneak in the park. Please don't ask me why, I have my reasons. Is this in any way possible. Has anyone attempted it? Please let me know. If you would like to meet up at the ranch, we can arrange that as well. Thanks.

2. ok, after reading some of the questions posted, feel I can add a few more words here:

   you can still go to Neverland although you can't pass the gate. I saw a car (company car or something) went through and a guy sitting in a small room (like a guard or so) right behind the gate came out talking to the driver. So some people are there, nothing else you can see (no sign of any magnificient things as shown from the original Neverland). The entire Ranch is still very green and beautiful though. I drove a few miles upto the hill along the road, tring to feel what he was feeling/doing/thinking, maybe sometime somewhere nearby.

   from Santa Barbara (or 101, south or north), take 154N (about 30 miles or so), then right turn to Figueroa Mountain Rd. drive 4 miles exact, you will see the gate (on the left). There is a school (The Family School) on the right just a bit ahead (thanks for the other post mentioning the school). So if you see the school, you just passed.

   I just visited Neverland yesterday, and will re-visit tomorrow (on a round trip from South CA to North CA--expanded from the original plan of visitng Neverland only). The only thing I could see (the gate of Neverland) not only made me so sad, but very mad!!!!!

   I will post the photo here when back home.

   There are many MJ fan clubs at different web sites. Is there a way to proactively pass a word to all the fans about this petition to open Neverlan for more support? I met quite a few groups yesterday also visiting Neverland (one family came all the way from Atlanta, Georgia!), and I saw carvings on all stones/walls in front of the grate by visitors saying how much they miss/love him. Obviously, this petition is not awared of by majority of the fans.

4. I live in Santa Barbara and after 5 years, finally visited. To answer a few questions.

   - There is no public transportation. To get there, you drive up the 154. Keep going north for about 45 minutes and turn right on Figueroa Mountain Road.

   - There is no address on the outside, it is just a blocked off gate with a guard shack and a long driveway heading to the main gate, which is off limits. This first gate that I'm talking about, used to look like this http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2009/07/02/alg_neverland_entrance.jpg

   But they no longer have the "Neverland, Once Upon a Time" signs on them

   -There is a small fence around the property that is roughly 3 feet high. The property is easy to miss, I drove by it without noticing.

Those pictures are the most amazing sites I have ever seen.I hope that Michael will end up being laid to rest in his neverland and people can come and admire it.Neverland was Michaels childhood dream of what he never had as a child and his children should be able to have that dream in honor of their dad who was so very dedicated to them.Michael was happiest at neverland.GOD BLESS YOU MICHAEL,YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!! 6. How can I get to Neverland from Santa Barbara?

   How long is the trip by car?

   Is there any public transportation (bus, train) to Neverland from Santa Barbara?

   Answer please.

   Last summer I was in Santa Barbara and I dreamt to visit Neverland but I couldn't because I didnt know how to do it. I tried to ask how to get to Los Olivos but at some station they say they have no transportation to there. that's a pity. it was a real chance to visit Michael's Neverland. This year I hope I can get to USA again and try to find Neverland. Please help me!

10. Hi,

    I'm planning to make a short trip to L. A. and I was wondering if it's posible to visit Michael's Neverland, his home. As a child I dreamed to go to visit a Micheal and know this amazing place that he built with love. I am his fan since I was a little girl and I admire him so much for his music, his kindness and generosity and for his charity work that he did constantly around the world.

    If it's not possible to enter there now, do you know if someday it'll be possible?

    It was the Dream of my Childhood - to visit it...

23. Why open to the public? It held negative memories for Michael and its none of our business where he is buried that is the family's decision not ours.

24. i hope his buried there millions of fans think his too big to be buried at forest lawn,we would love to pay our respects there and not a normal cememtary,and also it would be good cos the revenue can then go to his estate wihich will support charites ,his mother and kids.please if can send the message to the family on behalf of the fans,thanks

25. I would love to visit one day, but there are too many things in the way. I personally feel bad for his neighbours, who will have to go through neverland ranch turning into a tourist attraction. This is just a total mystery for everyone since I am sure there will be many people wanting to even visit the gate since he died. So inevitibly it will turn into a tourist attraction anyway. If that happens then they should open up neverland to the public.
